About Us

Nigehban Social and Economic Development Foundation is a non-profit, non-partisan, and non-political organization licensed under Section 42 of the Companies Act, 2017 by the SECP. Nigehban Foundation is legally empowered to serve the underprivileged and marginalized communities across Pakistan. Our mandate includes distributing ration packages, clean drinking water, medicines, and financial assistance to the poor, elderly, orphans, widows, minorities, and transgender individuals, especially in times of natural or unnatural disasters.

We are also sanctioned to establish and manage educational institutions, literacy centers, research hubs, and learning facilities, ensuring access to basic and advanced education for all, with approval from competent authorities. As a non-profit entity, Nigehban reinvests all income into its mission, prohibits dividend distribution to members, and commits to activities that uphold national laws, public order, and Pakistan’s sovereignty and interests.

We are committed to architect Pakistan’s future systems, building sustainable institutional structures for Pakistan, where every child is registered at birth, every citizen is accounted for, and every life has access to dignity. Our goal is to introduce policy-backed, people-centred, and technology-driven frameworks that address long-standing gaps in health, education, and welfare governance.

We believe that real change is born through institutions, not just interventions. That’s why Nigehban works on new authorities, frameworks, and digital infrastructures for health financing, child identity, education tracking, and social protection, supported by faith, evidence-based research, and policy.

Nigehban is among the first civil society-led organization in Pakistan to propose national frameworks and national-scale systems, such as: National Child Registration Authority (NCRA), Pakistan Health Financing Regulatory Authority (PHFRA), Pakistan National Bank of Health (PNBH), Mental Wellness & Support Systems for Law Enforcement
